Future in the Past.

The procedure of the lesson:

T: Good morning, dear children! Sit down! Who is on duty today? What date is it today? Who is absent today?

How are you today? What’s the weather like today? 

Your home task was to learn the new words. Prepare the sheets of paper to write a word dictation.

The theme of our lesson is "Future in the Past”. We are going to study the new grammar theme.

Futureinthepast

Если глагол в главном предложении стоит в прошедшем времени, то глагол в придаточном предложении (если мы говорим о будущем) должен стоять во времени будущее в прошедшем. В этом времени используются вспомогательные глаголы should / would. "Should” ставится вместо "shall”, а "would” – вместо "will”.

Example:

1.He knows that I shall come here again tomorrow.

He knew that I should come here again the next day.

2.She promises they will finish the work soon.

She promised they would finish the work soon.

Example:

1.He says that we shall meet tomorrow.

He said that we should meet the next day.

Ex. III p. 48 Express the same idea in English.

Example:

Айдар рассказал нам, что он будет делать летом в деревне.

Aidar told us what he would do in the village in summer.
