T: Good morning, dear children! Sit down! Who is on duty today? What date is it today? Who is absent today?

How are you? What’s the weather like today? How many lessons do you have today? What are they?

Ex. 15 p. 55 Give me your copybooks!

Today we are going to continue talking about memory and star sings and review the grammar theme "Gerund”.

First let’s review grammar rules. What is Gerund?

Let’s watch the presentation (учащиесясмотрятпрезентацию).

Read Grammar Reference on page 198.

Ex. 17 p. 56 Complete the table finding examples from the descriptions of star signs. Add some of your examples.

Ex. 18 p. 56 Go round the class and find the students who have the same star sign as you. In group read your character description again and discuss what is generally true for you.

Tell the class what you agree and disagree with.

Ex. 19 p. 56 Read and complete the phrases about yourselves.

Example: I can’t stand smoking.

Ex. 20 p. 56 Guessing game. Choose one of the star signs. Remember details. Do not tell anybody which one you have chosen. The class must guess by asking questions.

Ex. 21 p. 57 Match a verb with a noun.

Example: solve puzzles, waste time, …
